Artists Can Be Frugal Too

Do artists leave the business side of their creative talents to others like their agents, business managers or accountants? Most of the time, YES. They want to create in their studios because they are artists. But, they can’t avoid the reality of costs. So how do they merge the two?

For artists, hobbyists or crafters, be aware that there is an economic side to the creative mystique.

You finally sold your work. Great! But how much did it cost you to produce your masterpiece? Costs include materials used, your time, and profit margin.

Many of my clients say that it would price them out of the market. That may be true, but it forces you to innovate, be frugal, and be more productive.

happy. I’ve read this post and if I could I wish to suggest you some interesting
things or advice. Maybe you could write next articles referring to this article.
I want to read more things about it!

    • Yes, I plan to write more about being frugal. As an accountant I wrote a book, “HowToBeAFrugalMillionaire” and have received numerous positive comments.
Recently, I revisited my artistic skills and it has been a real eye opener. Hopefully my next posts will be of interest to you.
